Our Vision
To create a vibrant, Christ-centered community where families can share resources, receive encouragement and support, and walk together in the journey of home education. We believe in the power of accountability, connection, and meaningful relationships to enrich the homeschool experience.
As a former principal and teacher, Ms. April Timms is passionate about providing families with the tools and support they need to thrive. At Gospel Light, our desire is to foster a group built on encouragement, shared learning, and lasting community.
Mission Statement
Gospel Light Homeschool Co-Op exists to provide a Christ-centered, academically enriching environment where homeschooling families can come together in community. Our mission is to support parents in their role as primary educators by offering opportunities for shared learning, mutual encouragement, and spiritual growth. We are committed to fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and grace, where students are equipped to grow in knowledge, character, and faith.
What We Offer
At Gospel Light Homeschool Co-Op, families benefit from the leadership of an experienced educator with a strong background in K4 through high school instruction, curriculum, school leadership, special education, gifted education, and more.
We are committed to providing personalized support to homeschooling families through:
- Assistance with lesson planning and curriculum guidance
- Student assessments and academic support
- Engaging group activities and enrichment opportunities
- Help in locating and navigating special education services
- Ongoing encouragement, accountability, and community connection
Our goal is to walk alongside families, equipping them with the tools and confidence needed to educate their children with excellence.
Women's Ministries
The ladies at Gospel Light have the heart to serve. Our women's ministries include children's home clothing drives, outreach to women's shelters, and nursing homes. If you are looking for a place to serve as a woman then you would fit right in at Gospel Light!
Men's Ministries
We have an annual men's meeting every year with guest speakers, wild game supper, and giveaways. We also have outings throughout the year. We believe in helping men to grow through fellowship with others that are like minded.
Youth Ministries
The greatest gift you can give a child is Jesus, but we also believe children want to serve as well. So we try and give them as many opportunities as we can to do just that. We have classes for children as well as teens. We offer summer camps, youth rallies, and special outings throughout the year. Your child can thrive at Gospel Light!
